Paws to celebrate

National Dog Day is August 26, but we are celebrating with Morris Animal Foundation all month long!

I would like to honor all our canine family who we have lost, especially to canine cancer and those still fighting the battle. Twist, Vivi, Kirby, JJ, PeeWee, Cheerio, YoYo and Ruby. Just to many to mention. Celebrating my Summit who is battling subcutaneous Mast Cell recurrence. We want them with us as long as possible living their lives to the fullest. Please help me honor our loved ones who gives us so so much more then we can ever give them.

Heart disease. Arthritis. Kidney failure. Cancer. These diseases don’t affect just people. Our beloved dogs are at risk, too. Did you know that every year in the United States alone, six million dogs are diagnosed with cancer?

In celebration of National Dog Day, we are fundraising to help Morris Animal Foundation continues its lifesaving mission to advance canine health.

Since its founding in 1948, Morris Animal Foundation has grown to be one of the world’s leading funders of scientific research to improve animal health. Morris Animal Foundation has invested more than $44 million in 1,000+ canine health studies, including early research that contributed to the parvovirus vaccine and development of genetic tests for heart diseases, eye diseases and seizure disorders. Chances are, the dog closest to your heart has benefited by significant findings from current and past research.

Now, we invite YOU to join our efforts.

Please donate to our team fundraiser for canine health studies. All gifts received through August 31 will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000, by a generous, anonymous donor.

Please help us celebrate National Dog Day by contributing to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your friends and family. Every dollar we raise will advance this great cause! Together, we can make a difference for dogs everywhere.
