The Maximus Campaign
Honoring a Legacy of Love and Loyalty

This page is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Maximus, a Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel whose gentle spirit and unwavering affection left a lasting impression on his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on June 25, 2006, Maximus spent the majority of his life in northern New Jersey. He passed away on August 23, 2016, due to mitral valve disease (MVD), a hereditary, polygenic condition prevalent in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed.

In tribute to his memory, The Maximus Campaign has been established to celebrate his life and extend his legacy through meaningful impact. Contributions made in Maximus’s name to the Morris Animal Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing animal health—will support groundbreaking veterinary research and the improvement of care for companion animals worldwide.

Every donation, regardless of size, plays a vital role in advancing this important mission. Your support of The Maximus Campaign is deeply appreciated and serves as a powerful testament to the love and devotion Maximus so freely gave throughout his life.
