9th Annual Enzo Memorial Fundraiser to Stop Cancer Furever
It’s that time again…time to raise money for our ANNUAL ENZO MEMORIAL FUNDRAISER TO STOP CANCER FUREVER, benefitting Morris Animal Foundation!
I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since we lost our first pup, Enzo, to cancer; we’ve had more years WITHOUT Enzo than we had with him. But the impact of his short life continues on as we help the Foundation fund cutting-edge research to END pet cancer once and for all!
Every year, nearly 12 million dogs and cats are diagnosed with cancer in the US. We must continue the ground-breaking research into new tests, treatments and therapies so, one day, we can live in a world where all pet cancer is treatable and even curable!
I HOPE YOU CAN MAKE A DONATION TO HELP END PET CANCER. Any and all amounts help, especially since your gift will go twice as far thanks to Petco Love and Blue Buffalo, who are matching gifts up to $100,000 (if made by June 30th).
I am honored to continue Enzo’s legacy and help find a cure for pet cancer in the hopes that, one day, other cherished pets - and their families - won’t have to experience what we went through and won’t have to say goodbye too soon, like we did.

ENZO’S STORY
It started in January of 2016, when we took our almost 5 year-old pup in for what we thought was a routine urinary tract infection. But when your vet says your dog has cancer, your whole world shatters in an instant. The tears start and it’s hard to stop them, especially when your sensitive pooch gives you kisses to make YOU feel better.
Enzo was quickly diagnosed with advance-stage, incurable T-Cell Lymphoma and was given 6 to 9 more months. We were determined to make those last few months as happy and healthy as possible, so we started seeing a naturopathic vet for alternative therapies - like doggie acupuncture! - in conjunction with weekly chemo treatments.
Then, we made a list of Enzo's favorite things and took him on lots of long walks, snow-shoeing, camping, and hiking adventures - and even took him on an RV trip along the west coast!
Enzo was a one-of-a-kind pooch who lost his battle with cancer on August 9, 2016 after a valiant fight. His death left a huge hole in our hearts, but it also left us with a legacy.
Enzo’s legacy is to help make sure other pets don’t have to go through the pain he went through. HELP US HONOR ENZO’S LEGACY AND JOIN US TO STOP CANCER FUREVER BY MAKING A DONATION TODAY!
WHY I SUPPORT MORRIS ANIMAL FOUNDATION
Morris Animal Foundation is a nonprofit organization that funds science to advance the health of animals around the world. Since its founding by a veterinarian in 1948, the Foundation has invested over $167 million in 3,100+ studies that have led to significant breakthroughs in diagnostics, treatments and preventions to benefit animals worldwide. I feel good donating because 95% of donations go directly into animal health study support (thanks to an endowment that largely covers operating expenses).
