Darby deserved more time. She loved her life, and relished every single moment of it. Even in her last moments when she could not even walk all the way to the car, her gums were ashen, and her vitals were dangerously low, she pulled herself up to the car window so she could feel the warm spring breeze on her face. I know that Darby has friends and family all over the place, and you all are forever our friends and family. She was an irresistible, brilliant beam of light in a sometimes dark and scary world.
