This page is dedicated to the life of Maximus, a ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who had touched the lives of not only his family members, but each and every person he met.

Maximus was born on June 25, 2006, and lived most of his life in northern New Jersey, where he unfortunately passed away on August 23, 2016 from mitral valve disease (MVD), an inherent, polygenetic disease within the CKCS breed.

In memory of his life, and his unconditional love for his family, donations in his name, made to the Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit organization, can help advance the health of animals everywhere.
